Lots of people asked -and still ask- me a few questions regarding my comic from my old account, and if I'm ever going to continue it/ or bring back the old pages for people to see, and other stuff
So I'm gonna make it all clear in a journal.
The answer is the same as a few months ago: I stopped my old comic for good, and I will NOT continue it, no matter what anyone says. I'm not saying this with no regrets since this comic was a huge part of me for about 3 years, and back then I didn't even think of ending it that way, so suddenly. But I now completely grew out of the TloS fandom and am not a fan of it anymore, plus this leaded to lots of stuff about me being seen as a "Spyro artist" and my style being seen as a "Spyro style". Even if I haven't drawn Spyro stuff for like a whole year now, lots of people still call my characters "Spyro charas", but at least it got a little better with this new account. BUT if I go back to the comic, or even re-submitting the old pages, I don't even want to know how many people will start calling me a "Spyro artist" again, so no.
But that's not the only reason I stopped the comic
As said above I really grew out of the fandom itself, plus I had been getting lots of pressure with some people who kept on asking "when's the next page coming out?", others kept saying "make the nxt one already plz!!!" or in the worst cases: "HURRY THE H£LL UP Dmnit
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*insert 30 more exclamation points here* ", so this is what they get for being so selfish and ignorant to my warnings.
So you can thank them.
If you want to see the old comic pages, I gave permission to one or two people on Youtube to publish them here long ago, so you can check them: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqKl8M…
;, Or just type "Spyro Comic" to find the rest and you'll find them right away
But as I said I will NOT make the next pages. Not now, not next year, never.
Another question I'm often asked too is if I'm gonna make a comic now about my own characters.
Don't start asking questions about what it will be about cause I myself don't know the answer, the only thing I know is that I really want to make a comic about them, related to that D'Island project you may have heard of. If not, go to that journal: fourth-star.deviantart.com/jou…
What I have in mind: First thing: small comics. Random stuff and whatnot, as a wait for the "second thing" xD Maybe a small series out of it, like one story would be only 5 pages long, but there would be several small stories like that.
Second thing: but I don't know when that would be - IF we get to that- : A BIG comic series, aka like my old one. Same subject being D'Island, but this time the REAL plot, more serious, and obviously longer. I'm not going to say anything more about it.
And I DON'T know when we'll ever get to do that, wether it's short comics or a big series. I don' t know, so no need to ask "when are you gonna make a comic" and all. I don't know...I don' t know
But when it will start I'm gonna make it reaaally clear that I do NOT want to be ridiculously rushed like I was with my other comic, I already have ideas about teaching the rushers not to rush...In my own way. I'm not a pushover with that anymore.
That's all I wanted to say, hope this answered a few things
