Made a few weeks ago while I was on a dA break.

Heinaus in her "home" ~ Which has a name that will remain unmentioned for now just cause I'm that evil MWAHAHA.

Look at that strange creature standing on a cliff staring down at Heiny and the ladroxes...Remember? I drew this species in this random comic page: [link] and I decided to keep them! x3 They'll be called either Reever or Reaver (the pronunciation stays the same), which one do you think is better? The species' name is not random btw >8) Mysteryyyy...

Heinaus drawn in GIMP 2.4.6, the rest was made in Sai.
Characters and art Me.

She has a reference sheet you can find here with all the info needed about her so far :3… She'll be part of a future comic project I'm working on with a friend cx

Ohhhhh my~, such a complex and ironic character! I love this. You're very creative. My first thought when I red her ref sheet was "My gosh, what 'happened' to her to make her this way...?" It really got me curious. i'm a lover of psychology, you see, and any disturbance in personality makes me tick. So all in all, wonderfully disturbing and interesting personification here. Heart  On a more random note, i've been in love with Skye's simple yet athletic design ever since I first laid eyes on him. When I see a character I really like or that appears popular, I like to include them in my traditional art from time to time. Of course no one on the web has seen it, but I plan to change that very soon (if I can figure out how to work this thing!!!!). Now friends of mine see it, but I ALWAYS always always AAALWAYS credit the creator and try to provide ways for them to see the creator's original works. With your permission, would it be all right if I included Skye in a random yet fun collaboration in my traditional works? All credit for the character himself would go to you, but if you don't trust me yet or are unwilling just for other reasons I would understand :) the times I draw others' characters is purely out of honor for their astounding work. So just let me know when you can if it's all right. I won't be hurt either way Nod thank you for your time!

I'm really glad that you find her personality interesting! :la: I love playing around with characters' thoughts and why they behave the way they do, and Heinaus in particular is really fun to work on, I'm excited to show more about her in due time.
Glad you like Skye too <3 And yes of course it would be great to see some of your art! Just let me know when you have it up ;-;

I prefer Reever, due to their rather unearthly appearance. for some reason, 'reaver' always conjures images of large scythe-esque blades in my mind. not quite like 'reaper', as I imagine any scythe associated with the reaper to be less bulky. and I don't technically imagine a scythe for 'reaver' anyway. more like a mix between a scythe and a cleaver? you know, maybe no, I dunno. it's weird.

..I like the way you drew Heinaus' scales in this image, though. and I always feel like there's something concealed in her expression, but it always manages to stay just out of reach.

ooooooooooh mysteryyyyyy  :iconwooooplz:

I haven't seen much of the ladroxes, though. I suppose there might be a little more time I could spend looking, but so far all I've seen of them are this and a comic page. :shrug: I suppose either another search or a good dose of patience would be the solution to that, though.

I would say that this is overall brilliant and looks quite awesome, but that seems to be a bit too obvious nowadays, it seems less 'GNAAAHAA THIS IS AWESOME!' and more 'OH HOLY WOWOWOW YOU DREW A DRAWING :iconspazattackplz: AND IT WUZ DRAWN!' know what, maybe I ought to make a comment like that sometime. preferably to someone I know. but anyway.

..can I get away with saying this does look pretty cool, or would that seem a bit too blatant of a compliment? :ninja:
I think I'm just used to a different community of artists.

so much awesomeness. Heinaus makes a great character, for some reason she always reminds me of Roodaka from Bioncle was that intentional or is that just me
