I know their fights aren’t serious, but today’s audience is looking for fast and furious action. Hence, the reason why manga is so popular. I’m not saying you should involve a lot of blood and gore, but maybe add a few tackles, takedowns, or tail whips. If you are not into physical contact, have these characters spew some magic out of their faces. A fight involves three acts: the preparation, the confrontation, and the fight. You got the first two acts down, however the fight itself needs to be more creative. You have good foreshortening, though.
Read lots of manga or other American comics to get some good ideas for action scenes. One Piece is a good example. The problem with this is none of the characters in One Piece are bipedal. So you would have to be creative with the certain perspectives in your art. You would have to adopt Luffy’s stance into Skye’s stance in some fashion. Also, you really need to add some onomatopoeia, which are sound effects in comics. One piece uses onomatopoeia to death. Just don’t add multiple “DOOMS” like One Piece does. I found that to be unnecessary.
But I don't really like Fezar's colors... neither the brown nor how they all mix together. Lastly, Fezar's "hair"-like horns makes me feeling him more like "a wrongly formed human that looks a bit like a dragon-bird" than a dragon on something close to it. I more like Jaze's design (maybe it's a bit more "normative" design, but I very prefer them to Fezar's one).
Good work anyway.
