Step by step video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rkhvkj…
This animation was born from a random boredom-drawing of Auros running, and I thought it would be a nice starting frame for a running cycle animation
So this happened.
I still see a few mistakes, but that's the best I can do for now
I've been on this thing for DAYS and now I probably lost what was left of my brain cells. But it was worth it. THE FUN.
And I promised myself I wouldn't shade this...But listening to awesome music changed my mind.
Try to guess what was the biggest pain to animate here. The wings? The tail tuft? Nope.
IT WAS HER BELLY/TAIL STRIPES. ARGH.
I still remember the last run cycle I made back in 2011... fourth-star.deviantart.com/art…
and that I was pleased with is back then. now all I'm thinking is *pterodactyl shriek* HOW COULD I POST THIS HORROR, I AM ITCHING TO DELETE IT
Animating is officially as fun as it is tiring. I'm actually sad I finished this ;-;
I need hot chocolate now.
Time taken: Idon'tevenwanttoknow.
14 frames (looped twice for the blinking)
Drawn in PS CS5, frames put together in Macromedia Flash 8.
